95 Wellington Street is a $23million apartment and office building for Yarra Community Housing delivered under the Rudd Government’s ‘Nation Building’ program. Bauenort was instrumental in identifying a new use for the previously struggling prioject, and bringing together the site’s owner with the end take-out purchaser. Bauenort had an equity stake and provided a full Development Management service, managing the day-to-day decision making, leading the consultant team through the design and approval process and driving the project to completion.Through innovative financial engineering Bauenort was able to enhance the project’s returns, whilst maintaining a low risk exposure to the investor, ensuring an extremely successful project.
